Latinx Characters Need Love Too
Here we go! It's time to write romance.
Hello Love Sujeiry lovers!
If you’ve received this email, it’s probably because you’ve always supported my writing. I did my research (newsletter analytics, say what?) and I noticed that you are an avid reader of the Love Sujeiry newsletter. I see you clicking on that email and those links! And I am so very grateful. I also want to share my new newsletter, Give Them Romance, with you all.
I know, I know, another Love Sujeiry project and email in my Inbox? Ya basta, mujer! Wait, here me out!
Many of you know that I began dabbling in romantic fiction in 2020 and that I am currently writing a romance novel. You probably also know that I write a lot (freelance writing, Lovesujeiry blog, copywriting) and that my romance writing career (and book) fell on the back burner. I know that I want to write romance and finish my book. One way to ensure that I dedicate myself to this goal is to write consistently. And, since my love language is Words of Affirmation, I need to have an audience. One that supports my work and expects to see a damn story in their Inbox. That ish keeps me accountable.
If you are that person, you do not have to do a darn thing. If you’re still reading this but don’t want to be bothered with another one of my “ideas” albeit my brilliance and flair for the dramatic, you can easily unsubscribe. I don’t want to force anyone to join Give Them Romance. I truly want to cultivate an audience of readers that believes in my journey as a writer. It’s a windy road, lovers!
The choice is yours. No hard feelings, really. If you decide to stay, I’ll see you over at Give Them Romance, where Latinx characters and romantic fiction meet. Cause Latinx characters need love too!
